On my reading list for this summer is Traci Bunker's The Art Journal Workshop and so far I have tried one of the art journaling prompts. I'm noticing an unintentional recurring color scheme....
You mean SHE repeats the colors? I think she does and should broaden them out for the book, but I love her approach and the exercises. She's super real about her personal writing. I am not generally fond of all the "happy pretty" journals I see with no real life writing at all. I mean the work that's basically meaningless. It's not a "journal" to me.
Have you carved your own stamps yet? I just love to carve them and after reading her book, made myself a new set of symbols, and Finn made one too. I love using the kids stamps!!! :-)
